And now for something completely different....
it s the country contest.

Where are you from?
Where are you now?
Is nesdev an international movement?
Does nesdev community spread over the world?
(sorry, no prizes for this contest)
(I must warn you, if you do not answer this contest, I will say Ni!)

I am French.
I live in Madrid (Spain).

Regards

I'm from Indianapolis, Indiana (USA). And I'm still there.

If this link works, you can see visits from at least 166 countries. Though some of those were from only a few visits.
http://www.nedstatbasic.net/s?tab=1&link=3&id=404475&cou=all

If it's a contest though, we at least need a way for someone to win. :-)
So I propose whoever is from the country with the smallest population, wins. Or something, heheh.

Hi,
Interesting link. You have visits from all over the world, congratulations.

You are right, we need a way to have a winner.
Te country with the smallest population is a good idea, so I agree to use it.

I had no idea you were from Indianapolis. So'm I! I live around Castleton (traffic hell capital of the state).

Man, between you and Kev, that's crazy.

I hereby declare Indianapolis to be the Nesdev capital of the world. Or something.

Maybe not.

haha... I did when I was a kid.

Just as long as Europeans don't confuse Americans with Canadians. That's a hanging offense XD

lol !
This is normally the watch's country (this is probably the reason beacause I'm a fan of Chrono Trigger, lol!)

Canadians ARE americans, you're also confusing the united states and the whole america !

Nah... American is the term for people from the USA. I know other countries whine and complain about it... but that's really how it is.

We're not "United Statesian" or "United States of American"... we're "American".

"North American" = being in North America
"South American" = being in South America
"American" = being in USA

I hate to sound like an arrogant Ammerican prick... but that's just how it is. Other countries need to get over it... it's been that way for centuries. And it's not just Americans that call themselves American... *EVERYBODY* calls us American. There's nothing else to call us... we're American.

haha... well it's all good. I don't really care... it's just some people are uptight about the Canada thing ;D. I wouldn't mind being called Canadian... I mean Canada and the US are practically identical.

What's so wrong with canadians you 'americans' think? I think you're just jellous of them having "Tom Green" and "Terrence & Phillip" =)

One thing I'd like to add about the 'American' discussion, that maybe someone outside the US might not know, is that there's a huge importance placed on individual states (and not just symbolically). And so we've all got designations depending on where you're from. So I'd consider myself a 'Hoosier' before an 'American', and an Earthling above all that. :-)

It could perhaps be likened to saying a German is a European, or a Swede is a Scandinavian.

Yes, but a Swiss is NOT a Scandinavian !!
And Switzerland is a bit different as other european countries.
