SubjectFFE Header Info new

Does anyone out there have any info on the first 5 bytes of the FFE header for Famicom ROMS? I was able to get my hands on an original FFE Super Magic Card. I would rather play my collection on the original hardware then mess with emus. I have searched my ass off for weeks and gotten close but no go yet. All the roms I have are in ines format and won't work with the copier. There are a handful of utils out there that claim to convert to FFE format but all but one are total BS. They add a 512 byte header that consists of nothing but zeros, not a true FFE header. One util, though, Nesimage works correcty with certain roms but only a few (seems to be 64k roms that it can handle). I have found docs on the Super Wildcard for SNES but nothing on Super Magic Card header. Anybody who knows will be my new best friend. :-)

Those things are pretty uncommon, from what I understand. I wouldn't expect it to work with very many roms, since the mappers are all so different. I do recall having a bunch of roms a while back that had stuff in the filenames like "(FFE mapper hack)", so I guess you'll need to track down some of those and convert them from iNES format. Maybe that would help.

I think there was a CD-ROM that had a bunch of FFE-format roms that someone came across (which I presume would be where those FFE mapper hack roms came from).
