Probably most of you know about kevtris and his incredible electrnonic-skills.
This guy built a Sid-man ( he called it like that) it s like a mp3-walkman ,but which plays SIDs(c64 sound format).
I wondered if any project about a NSF-man (that would be a nsf-walkman) was in the brain of another electronic-freak .
If not think about it you all.

Yeah, that Sidman is really cool. kevtris built a hardware NSF player also, though it wasn't totally portable like the Sidman.

Coincidentally, kevtris lives near me, so I've been able to see some of his amazing stuff in person. As I joked once, "Indianapolis: Home of the NSF file format", heheh.

HardNES wasn't really famous (except maybe when the NSF format first came about), plus I think it's been taken apart since then. If there's no schematics on the site, then I'm pretty sure kev didn't need any. =) Anyways, the more complex part is probably the code in the FPGA.

I'd like to see something like that made again. These days though, it almost seems more practical to make MP3s and use an MP3 player, but then you lose sound quality and have to deal with actually making all those MP3s..
