Do ____NOT____ use SNES utilities to split NES games apart. I cannot stress this enough. ROM splitting for SNES games is _COMPLETELY AND ENTIRELY_ different, they have absolutely NO relation to NES games, and you will end up with strange, inappropriate results: ALWAYS. Case in point.

Try using the utility "dd" for UNIX or Win32.
