you manually cut code out in a hex editor - the 16 byte header (the code following is prgrom + chrrom (you should work this out from the prgrom (number * 16k)+ chrrom (number * 8k) size specified in header)) if there any code left after game then cut that off as well (the exception is if there's a trainer specified in header - i don't know were this is).
