i tried to make castlevania 2 on an slrom cart that i butchered, the game plays but the graphics is corrupted, the only graphic that isnt corrupted is the guy you control and the monsters, the music play and the background is almost right just jumbled, i used tnines to split the rom up but anything over an unrom and it tends to corrupt the graphics ive found.

because ive made donkeykong clasics, elevator action, spy vs spy, megaman 1, prince of persia, spy hunter and a few others, and they all worked but anything that seems to be 128k prg and 128k chr or bigger fails to work correctly, its almost like the h/v mirroring which i assume is built into the mmc1 chip on an slrom cart doesnt work properly, i tested this by making bubble bobble on an sfrom cart with the same outcome, though an sfrom if anyone has eva made a devcart out of one would find it is impossible, the cart is to small to fit 2 32pin eproms into, i ended up mounting an eprom on the other side of the cart with the legs bent the wrong way. the game works but the craphics again are all muddled but the music and the game is there as are the levels, just junk graphics.... so from this i have to wonder if tnines.exe works for any or only some games to split. are there any other programs that split roms into their attributes?
