MMC5 Board Names:
EKROM ELROM: MMC5, PRG-ROM, CHR-ROM ETROM: MMC5, PRG-ROM, CHR-ROM, 2x 8k optionnal RAM (battery) EWROM: MMC5, PRG-ROM, CHR-ROM, 32k optionnal RAM (battery)
That's the current UNIF specification for MMC5 boards. Isn't there more to it?
*So ELROM has nothing special.....just PRG and CHR ROM, + EXRAM. Anything else?
*ETROM has PRG/CHR ROM, EXRAM, + 2 8k ram chips (battery packed SRAM). Can ETROM PCBs only have 1 8k ram chip instead of two? Anything else?
*EWROM has PRG/CHR ROM, EXRAM, + 1 32K ram chip (battery packed SRAM). Anything else specific to this board type?
*EKROM probably has PRG/CHR ROM, and probably EXRAM. Is that wrong? Is there anything else? It just left this board type blank and I've been wondering about it.
thx
