alright,

i'm using Windows ME.
and everytime i go to load up NT2, upon loading, it freezes my comp.
anyone have any ideas at what it could be, or any suggestions as what i should do?

Are those the correct settings for your soundcard? Try typing 'SET' at a command prompt to see if there's a BLASTER= string.

BLASTER = A220 I5 D1 T4 P330

Hmm, strange. Does sound work in other DOS programs? Maybe you could see if the sound settings in windows match up with what DOS is using. I don't know what else it could be.

i look at a previous post, trying to configure my sound card...but ME is not very cooperative. i've never used a program for DOS, other than Nerdtracker.

sometimes programs work with just
set blaster=a220
setting just one part of the extra settings wrong can cause a crash, well don't know if this will make much difference
