Which reminds me (re: "doesn't work correctly on the real deal"), I really should fix up my FF2J intro to work properly on things. I still have my source laying around.

The problem (in my case) is that I've essentially lost interest in fixing it due to so many people wanting to "put it on cart" -- 90% of the people who want to "put it on cart" just want to sell it on eBay. I'm a big fan of trying to do things the Right Way(tm) and fixing bugs that are my responsibility, but the benefits of the outcome don't outweigh the negatives.

Other than that, despite not really being part of the NES development community any more, I wholeheartedly agree with everything Ban's said.
