I would like to register my vote for a less critical approach to this matter of testing. something like "I've realized that most ROMs and code haven't been tested on hardware. I'd like to raise awareness of this and start a drive to test and get some kind of 'stamp of approval' on things that pass." Heh, the NesDev Seal of Approval (unrelated to Nintendo's similar mark).
