that's the same basic principle behind the Happy Cart for the atari 2600, which was much easier because the 2600 (also the genesis) used standard serial ports for the controller ports. of course rewiring a nes controller plug to a serial cable wont take but 5 minutes, but the idea is a good one and one i've come across myself... i'm hoping i can pull something off soon
