Well, I burned NES 101 tutorial onto the chips since they are proven to work. I even did a read from the flash after the burning was done and verified the correct data had been written. I put it in my machine, and.. crap. Still the flashing gray screen. You would think at least SOMETHING would come up.. not just blank gray flashing.. There isn't a lockout pin I have to disable is there? I have an American machine (NTSC i think its called). Here are the pinout comparison, it looks like everything should work right? There are a couple slight differences, but it seems OK to me. Any ideas?
