Hi guys, I have this weird glitch in my program. Strange little sprite graphics blink to the left of my sprite and move when I move the sprite with my control pad. I'm not quite sure to get rid of those, Memblers this seems like something you know about because I always see these posts from you saying stuff like "you must write $00 to this register initally and also during the NMI because.. something" Something about the weird ppu quirks is screwing up my display, any ideas?

Here is my program so you can see what glitch I'm talking about. The code is quite lengthy so I didn't post it, but if you know what part is acting up or even want me to post it all please let me know!

Once again, my top priority is to fix this glitch before moving on so it is not so hard to find down the line.

There are 8 sprites being displayed, I'm guessing that's more than there should be?

Are you using your sprite-RAM page for non-sprite related variables (or maybe they're mis-aligned?). Other than the $300 page, I only see 2 bytes in zero page that look like they were used.

Once again Memblers, you hit it right on! For some reason I had stored my variables right after the sprite data at $0300. So I moved them up to $0000 and the garbage sprites vanished! Thanks so much!
