Ok, since people are around I'll post my progress. I'll mark the end of each e-mail with txb142, my handle on the NESdev list.

I have converted Dragon Warrior 4 to newgame and added floppy disk saving to it. If anyone wants to be a tester, please let me know. Took me a bit to get it working, but if anyone wants my documentation (or the patch to try it out) let me know.

As for Dragon Warrior 3, I got it working, but strangely when you reset it crashes. I wonder if it have some checking code to see if you have a clone system, and then does something crazy to cause a crash on rereset. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thirdly, if anyone wants to sell me another DR PC JR, let me know. I can't give more then $200, but maybe I can suplement that with helping you out with hacking games or some such thing.

Fourthly, a tester I had long ago said the floppy code didn't work on his particular systems. It might have something to do with me not using IRQs, and the timing isn't good enough for some floppy drives.
