This emu project sounds a good idea and if the best emu is designed for unif this would help with getting it supported among rom sites.
btw does any one know if there any unif roms out there demo/commercial as some sort of reference to somewhere would help people be a bit more enthusaisitic instead of not being able to test the unif feature and dismising it.
Well if no unif stuth exists on the web perhaps someone could convert some demos roms like it is sugested the emu will automatically do

I don't think automatic conversion to Unif would be possible, unless it's done with a nestoy/goodnes-style database. Info for north american board-types are out there, but it poses a problem with accurately documenting the multitude of Japanese cartridge-types. To avoid emulation SNAFUs, the UNIF info would probably need to be verified as being accurate before becoming widely distributed.

That'd be a project in itself. It's gotta start somewhere, though.
